The shawl is going well! I have done 15 of the 19 repeats of the budding lace pattern....then I get to change charts :)
I think I have a total of 60 rows left! I'm not letting myself get too relaxed about it though because each row gets longer. It has been fun to knit on it while watching the games....I love the gymnastics!! Our men's team did awesome last night....ladies tonight!
Here is Knox looking content and relaxed last night!
But this morning she is intent on something. She keeps looking up and for the life of me and I don't what she is looking at....normally I find some minuscule bug, but who knows today. Further she is whining while watching which is totally uncharacteristic. Oh well...she'll get tired and take a nap and forget about it! :) Happy knitting!
I'm very impressed! Looks like your going to get the gold. Don't get complacent like the Japanese gymnst. I was hooting for Phelps and the men's gymnastic team last night too. It make my kids wonder what was up with me because we don't watch sports and so they never see me get fanatical!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - It looks FANTASTIC!!!! You are putting me to shame on my Ravelypmics project (although to be fair, I did spend 7 hours driving yesterday....)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the women's gymnastics tonight!
Rah Rah Rah Leah, you are doing great
ReplyDeleteIt's looking good! I'm impressed. My socks are going to get some attention tonight as we watch :)
ReplyDeleteI am impressed with your progress. Keep going, npot far to the end now.
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful, Leah! What size needles are you using? Bet you can't wait to change charts! (Does Knox need a lap to sit in?!)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could knit this shawl and watch the Olympics at the same time, but you're doing great with it. I'm knitting simple stockinette, so I can keep a better eye on the action.
ReplyDeleteUgh, no kidding. Should have stayed and knit all night instead of watching little mistake after little mistake chip away at our scores. I know how frustrated that makes me, I can't even imagine what the girls must be feeling. Sigh. At least we still won silver - that's better than nothing! =)
ReplyDeleteYou're doing an amazing job with the shawl. I didn't join the Ravelympics though I am making some progress with the blanket I started a couple of weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Knox wants attention? My little dog was doing something similar.
Wowee Zoweee you're fast!
