It is snowing! in Baton Rouge! it is sticking too! They are saying 1-2 inches. Many schools are closed, but it is finals week so I doubt the university will. I love snow! it feels like Christmas! I'll try to get a pic to post later!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. I miss snow, the crispness of a new fall, the way everything gets made brand new under its virgin whiteness. And it makes it feel like Christmas.
My sister sent me a picture from Lafayette, LA. They got quite a bit of snow. We had snow flurries here, too, but no accumulation to speak of. Bridges and overpasses were iced over on the north side of Houston.
Squee!!!!!!!!!!!! =)
ReplyDeleteLucky you! I'm jealous. At least you have a reason to knit socks!
ReplyDeleteBreak out the hand knits and make snow angels! What a surprise!
ReplyDeleteIt's only raining here in Philly. It's about 40 degrees.... Enjoy the snow!!
ReplyDeleteNo snow here but we have a couple inches of solid ice. YUCK

ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snow. I know it's not a normal occurrence so you have to enjoy it while it lasts.
