Frogging Day!

Well I was making great progress on my second sock....almost finished the gusset...and then I thought to count stitches....what? why only 64 instead of 68? Seriously I had make 2/3 of a sock with the wrong number of stitches.

It is frogged and in time out!

I just can't face it right now. I do know how this would happen. I cast on one morning in DC in a hurry to have something for the knitting circle....while I do a lot of math....a lot....I not good at counting!

  1. Oh man... I wonder if I would have just had a smaller sock, LOL.

  2. Did you try it on before you ripped it? 64 stitches is the number I always use.

  3. Is this a little drastic for 4 stitches? Oh well, now you'll have the joy of knitting this project again. I do love the yarn.

  7. This is one of the reasons I don't knit socks. I would've kept going for 4 stitches...or added some....

  8. I'm figuring out that counting is not really part of maths. Bummer about the sock.

(my verification is somber. Good for this post.)
