Photoshoot

Friday during lunch several of us knitters decided to help each other out with a photo-shoot of some finished objects.  It was a gorgeous day and we had a blast!

Left to right: Ashley (our photographer!), S (blogless), alh, and me!

Ashley has a washcloth to photograph, but really came along to help us out!  S had the hat she is wearing and a pair of socks!  alh had a pair of socks, a sweater, and a hat. Me.....the clapotis!

I finished it maybe two weeks ago and love it!  The perfect wrap for a cold classroom, but it needed a proper picture!

Full Details:
Pattern: Clapotis
Yarn: Great Adirondack Yarn Co Silk Noir
Color: Storm
Needles: US 8
Mods:  None, just made it a little longer than the pattern
Best part of pattern:  Dropping stitches!
Worst part:  This this is huge!

Here is a close up!

Can you tell we had a super time?

I appreciate all your prayers about my health!  I'm feeling much better!  I know the blog has been quiet....mainly because I've been having some awesome math days....when those happen you must work like mad because who knows when the brain can handle it again!  What an answer to prayer!!!

Back to work I go!

Looks like great fun! I love your clapotis. I bet it will be one of your most treasured knits. It is so versitile too.

Glad to hear your feeling better and the math is flowing in your brain. :)

BTW, do you read http://knitgeekery.blogspot.com/? She's making a knitted Moebius which reminded me of you, one of my favorite mathematician!

Good to hear about your awesome maths days! ;-) I love your Clapotis - I made mine a few years ago and have worn it SO much! One of the most useful garments I own.

You look so happy! What a wonderful group of friends and great pictures of your scarf. Fun as the clapotis is to work on, the best part is being done and wearing it :)

So pretty.

I love it! It looks good as a scarf or a shawl. The yarn I used for mine makes a bulky scarf--not really practical for our climate, so I haven't worn it as much as I thought I would.

It looks lovely and you look lovely and so happy in it. But "awesome math days" -- doesn't compute in this un-mathematical brain of mine! SO glad you're feeling better and are able to do what you love!

It is beautiful. Love the size, color and the fact that it draps so well to wear around your neck.
